With their 6-1 region record and a second place finish in Class 5A region six, the Blue Devils earned a spot in the playoffs in 2015. The Blue Devils won four consecutive playoff games to reach the Class 5A State Championship game only to fall just short of claiming a title. They were defeated by St. Pauls at the Alabama Super Seven 41-26 in Auburn.

No team at Mortimer Jordan ever won more games in a season than the thirteen victories last year. The 611 points scored by the Blue Devils last year were a team record in a single season.

The high-scoring Mortimer Jordan offense ranked 20th in the AHSAA. They averaged 40.7 points a game.
